I got to wear this beautiful piece by Milly for press day. Jeff Kim pulled this look and I immediately gravitated towards it. First of all, I love a good monochromatic look. Secondly, I love a well fitted pant! Thank you Milly for loaning me this beautiful look!
2018: New Year, same me. I don’t try to commit to silly New Year’s Resolutions. Instead, I choose something a bit more simple. Everyday I try to strive to be kinder, to be a better person. I surround myself with friends and family that inspire me to do so.
It’s true, kindness aside, most of the time you have to fight for what you want; Respect, equal pay, equal treatment and safe working enviorments. There are a lot of topics that people once shied away from. Topics people were uncomfortable speaking about outside the safety of their inner circle. But the time is now to speak up, and to take action in order to undo wrongs. Time to put your money where your heart is, it’s time to stand up against the bully. Find the cause you are passionate about and really fight to make a difference. Strive to make things better for the next generation. The time is now. Get involved, VOTE, have an opinion, a open conversation about something that may make you feel uncomfortable and most importantly, stay woke. Here’s to a New Year filled with positive change. Be the catalyst for something positive.
