Denim Story with Saks Fifth Avenue
April 29, 2019

Thank you to my amazing sponsors Saks Fifth Avenue and ShopStyle for empowering me to continue sharing stories like the one you are about to enjoy!

Saks Fifth Avenue is the dream destination for all things denim. They’ve got the top denim designers with over 1,500 carefully curated pieces to choose from. Finding the perfect pair of jeans is a personal journey so finding the ones that fit like a glove is important. I highly recommend going into the store because you can also have one of their friendly and very stylish employees help you put together any look. Now that we are headed into Summer, I wanted to show you some of my favorite denim looks I put together for this upcoming seasonal transition. I’m a California Girl through and through so you can only imagine my love for jeans. I hope you enjoy!

What I love about these denim shorts from 3×1 is that they can be dressed up or down. I went with the prior pairing it with this Victorian style top by Zimmermann because I am obsessed with the proportions. The high neck compliments the high waisted jean shorts another great example of high low or casual chic! I also dressed this look up with a polka dot acrylic bag from Loeffler Randall and Jimmy Choo heels.

The distressed jeans and tie dye shirt above are an homage to growing up in California. But all you need is a well fitted blazer with a slick texture and a pair of classy heels to bring this nostalgic look into 2019. The top and blazer are both from A.L.C, Jeans are Rag & Bone (which are very comfy) and the heels are from Stuart Weitzman. A pair that you should definitely have in your closet.

Below we have 7 for all Mankind cropped wide leg jeans in white, a Cinq a Sept blazer and Dries Van Noten beaded mesh top.

I love a white jean for summer. The best way to dress these up for a night out is with pops of color and texture. This silky Cinq a Sept blazer will you keep you warm enough for a summer night out and is a total stand out. The Dries Van Noten top is a great contrasting texture and super chic. If you’re uncomfortable with just a bra, I’d suggest wearing a crop top of plain black cami underneath instead. Look was complete with a bag from chloe.
