My show recently got picked up and I’m headed to Atlanta to film for 7 months! My skin has been really dry from all my recent travels and a bit dull looking. I’ve tried a lot of masks to help hydrate and smooth out my skin but nothing seems to work long term. I’m always open to trying new products and the team at SK-II told me about their Facial Treatment Essence. I’ve partnered up with them and have introduced SK-II Facial Treatment Essence into my skin regimen because I’m hoping to be #OneBottleAwayFrom from having hydrated, smooth and glowing skin for the start of my new show. I’ve heard that it will helps with all of the above so fingers crossed!
I’ve documented my skin for the first 4 weeks since introducing SK-II Facial Treatment Essence into my skin regimen. I started using SK-II mid June.
Week 1. Skin is dry, irritated and dull.
Growing up I always had issues with uneven skin tone and mild facial eczema. Dry skin on my face has always been one of my insecurities. I’ve tried using a steroid cream when the dryness got really bad around my mouth but the medication was too strong and my skin problems would eventually come back.
Week 2: Starting to see less dry spots. My skin is soaking up the SK-II Facial Treatment Essence (FTE). After I have wash and dry my face I apply a teaspoon amount the the FTE onto the palm of my hand. After rubbing my hands together, I gently tap the product onto my face. It’s safe to use around the eyes and eyelid and I also always apply a generous amount onto my neck.
My skin is feeling hydrated throughout the day and I feel like my skin is glowing.
I feel like I’ve got the dryness under control. My skin is hydrating and super smooth. I’m also loving my glow. I’ve also put the SK-II Facial Treatment Essence into a small spray bottle so I can refresh my skin throughout the day.
I have continued to use SK-II FTE after the first four weeks and am currently still using the product throughout the day. I’ve gotten quit creative with it. Aside from applying it day and night after I wash my face, I’ve put some in a spray bottle and I keep it in my bag so I can mist throughout the day. I’ve also made up a personal facial cocktail which I would apply after a long flight. My facial cocktail: after applying SK-II FTE onto a clean face I would trap in the moisture by leaving on a facial treatment mask over night. I’ve started filming my show a month ago and have been very please with the condition of my skin. It’s super hydrated and smooth! I’ve been traveling a lot for press, always trying to catch up with sleep and I’ve been exhausted! It’s been non stop since we started filming the show and with the amount of makeup I put on and take off my skin problems would usually flair up. But I’ve been really surprised by how my skin has held up, it’s never looked better. One month of craziness down. I hope my skin will continue to look this healthy until we wrap our season in December!
