I love going home to San Francisco…

Mind the cliff! Bring your furry friends to the Fort Funston National Park. Enjoy the view and the beach but seriously, watch your step.

Oh yeah and there’s also hang gliders to watch out for.

I grew up going to Ocean Beach. Rough cold waters so I wouldn’t recommend going for a dip but check out the remains of the Sutro Baths. There’s also the Sutro Heights Park as well as the famous Cliff House and cave.

Craving brunch? Check out Plow. Make sure to give yourself half an hour. There’s usually a wait.

Want to burn some calories or just feel like a kid again? The House of Air will do the trick. Feeling more adventurous? Have no fear, right next door is an awesome indoor rock climbing gym called Planet Granite. While you’re in the area don’t forget to take a walk through the Presidio, check out the Golden Gate Bridge, Crissy Field and Fort Mason. It’s all in the same hood.

Do some shopping on Fillmore and Union Street and don’t forget to check out Freda Salvador!

My Favorite place to eat in the city is PPQ, which has the most delicious garlic crab and house garlic noodles. For dessert drive down the road to Genki Crepes. Want some delicious ice cream? Go to Dolores Park for some Bi-Rite, a heavenly ice cream parlor filled with yummy unconventional flavors.

I was fortunate to be in SF for Pride Weekend this year. SF was buzzing with excitement thanks to the Supreme Court ruling against PROP 8 and deeming DOMA unconstitutional. The entire city seemed to shine a little brighter.

Two days in San Francisco, check! Now we’re off to celebrate yet another beautiful wedding in Berkeley at the Brazilian Room, located in the Tilden National Park.
